Toni Kroos, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo will all be back and available for coach Zinedine Zidane when Real Madrid host Betis this Wednesday. While Marcelo and Ronaldo were suspended, Kroos had a small injury which kept him out of the trip to Real Sociedad but he was able to train with the rest of the squad this Monday and will amost surely make the team’s starting lineup against Betis.
Marcelo was lucky enough to see his two-game suspension reduced and only need to miss one game while Cristiano Ronaldo has already served his five-game ban.
All things considered, Madrid have weathered the storm. It’s true that they are four points behind Barcelona in the table after just four games played, but Los Blancos managed to get a very important win against Real Sociedad last Sunday. Zidane will give his starters some minutes this Wednesday so that they can gain momentum, although young players like Ceballos or Marcos Llorente could also feature.
