The midfielder says it was only a scare.

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos posted a picture on his Instagram account and updated his condition after being taken to hospital for examination. Ceballos had vertigo and nauseas as he was taken down by an Italy defender.

Apparently, Ceballos has a sprain in his cervical vertebrae, a tricky injury that could possibly keep him out of the team a couple of weeks. Still, Spain U21 will release a medical report on Ceballos this Saturday, revealing how serious the injury is and whether or not the midfielder will remain with the team until the end of the FIFA break.

Ceballos himself didn’t seem very worried about his injury:

“Happy after our win and the good feelings we had. Thank you everybody for your support, luckily enough it was just a scare. Now let’s keep going,” he posted on Instagram.

Ceballos hasn’t been a relevant player for Madrid this season but his playmaking skills and his creativity could be very useful to give Kroos or Modric some rest.
