Real Madrid host Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu —22:00 CET— after taking care of business last Sunday against Real Sociedad in a very tough game where Los Blancos missed Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo, Karim Benzema and Mateo Kovacic, five potential starters who could’ve easily made the team’s lineup.
Luckily enough for coach Zinedine Zidane, Kroos, Ronaldo and Marcelo will all make their return to the squad this Wednesday, and while Real Madrid should be capable of earning the three points without them, expect those three men featuring in the team’s starting lineup.
Los Blancos will be traveling to Alaves this next Saturday. Zidane might consider giving Carvajal some rest while Dani Ceballos could also feature in the midfield against his former club. The Spanish player has been patiently waiting for a chance in the starting lineup and Zidane could reward him, although it’s true that the French coach might decide to play it safe and start his best team available.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Asensio, Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Betis predicted XI: Adan, Barragan, Mandi, Feddal, Durmisi, Camarasa, Fabian, Francis, Javi Garcia, Tello, Sanabria.
