Real Madrid host Betis just three days after beating Real Sociedad away from the Santiago Bernabeu and without key starters Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos, Marcelo or Karim Benzema. The first three players are now back with the team and will almost certainly start the game while Betis are reportedly going to rotate their squad and give the starters some rest, meaning that Madrid should clearly have the edge and earn the three points at home.

It will be interesting to see if coach Zinedine Zidane decides to give Dani Ceballos a chance to start against his former team. Ceballos hasn’t had a prominent role with the squad and probably expected more minutes when he signed for Madrid, especially considering that Modric and Kroos have not been available at some point. Still, he is young and knows that he has to work very hard in order to earn the minutes he wants.
