Real Madrid visit Alaves —16:15 CET— after their extremely shocking defeat to Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu last Wednesday. They’re currently seven points behind Barcelona, meaning that every single match is a must-win at least until Messi and Co. drop some points.
Zidane will be without Marcelo and Theo Hernandez, so Nacho will almost certainly be the chosen one to play in the left back spot. Toni Kroos is also unavailable and Zidane could use a Casemiro-Modric-Isco midfield with Asensio, Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo playing upfront and trying to break Real’s dry spell.
Luckily enough for Madrid, Alaves are in very bad shape and have not scored a single goal while conceding eight of them this season. It’s clear that Los Blancos should defeat them fairly easily, but they were also expected to take care of business against Betis and failed miserably, so nobody really knows what will happen this game.
Alaves predicted XI: Pacheco, Vigaray, Ely, Maripan, Duarte, Pina, Garcia, Gomez, Medran, Burgui, El Haddadi.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Keylor Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Nacho, Casemiro, Modric, Isco, Asensio, Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo.
