Per Realmadrid.com
Dutch referee Björn Kuipers will take charge of the Champions League game between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid at Signal Iduna Park, corresponding to match day two of the Champions League group stage (Tuesday, 8:45pm CEST).
It will be the fourth time that Kuipers has refereed a match involving The Whites He officiated the 2013/14 Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid (4-1). In 2012-2013 he oversaw the first leg of the semi-finals against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park (4-1), and also officiated in the round of 16 during the 2011/12 campaign when the Whites came up against CSKA Moscow (1-1).
Dortmund need a win after Tottenham’s easy victory against them in the first week of the Champions League group stage. Toni Kroos is still questionable for the game although reports suggest that he will be able to play.
