Cristiano Ronaldo suggests he’d sign a contract extension with Real Madrid

Does he want a new deal?

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace on the match against Dortmund and delivered some interesting quotes on an interview with MEGA right after the game.

“[About signing an extension] It’s a good question...I’m happy. I’m happy for my teammates who signed a new deal. The president would answer that question better than I could, but I’m happy here,” said Ronaldo, who then answered the reports which suggested he could leave Real Madrid last summer.

“I never said I wasn’t happy in Real Madrid. Nobody ever heard that from me. It would be impossible for me to answer every single report, I’d make a living for the press,” he said. “Sometimes the report comes out in Portugal, sometimes it happens in Spain...Everything about Cristiano [sic] becomes global news. That’s what happens when you’re great,” he added.

All in all, it definitely seems like Ronaldo would happily sign a new deal with Real Madrid if he’s offered one.
