Marco Asensio has signed a contract extension with Real Madrid, one which will keep him with the club until the summer of 2023. His release clause will be increased and so will his salary. Asensio will turn 22 years old next January, meaning that his new deal will expire when he is still entering his prime as a football player. This won’t be his last contract with Real Madrid.
Per Real Madrid’s report:
Real Madrid C. F. and Asensio have agreed an extension to the player's contract, binding him to the club until the 30th of June 2023. Tomorrow, Friday, at 2:00pm CEST, Asensio will appear at a press conference in the media room at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The Spanish attacker has become a crucial player for Real Madrid this season after coming off the bench for most of the games during last year’s campaign.
Asensio will speak to the press tomorrow.
