Update: Bale is not injured but could miss Sunday’s match against Espanyol

He just has muscle fatigue.

Good news for Zinedine Zidane and the rest of the coaching staff, as Gareth Bale’s tests on his hamstring came out negative and proved he is not injured. However, the Welsh star does have muscle fatigue on his hamstring and is still questionable for Sunday’s home game against Espanyol, according to reports from Spain.

Apparently, Real Madrid will try to make him miss the next two games with Wales by keeping him out of the team’s squad list for Sunday’s match. However, it will still be up to him and the Welsh coaching staff.

Bale’s history with muscle injuries clearly indicates that he should probably be rested now that there’s a FIFA break coming up. He completed a brilliant performance against Dortmund last Tuesday but he has to stay healthy, so it would make sense for Real Madrid and also for Wales to keep him out and let him get some rest on his hamstring.
