Drawing Board: Ronaldo takes Pele to School

Ronaldo surpasses Pele, walks him to school

Welcome to our drawing board. A few times per month, our resident cartoonist, Finn, will sling out some dope and exclusive art for you — usually on the back of a big moment that’s captured our attention in the Real Madrid world. On Thursday, Cristiano Ronaldo surpassed Pele on the all-time international top-scorers list, which in turn, armed our cartoonist Finn with creative juices.

Two more goals will have Ronaldo catch up to Japan’s Kunishige Kamamoto, and once he hits that mark, he’ll be chasing after Ferenc Puskas’s 84 goals for Hungary, and Ali Daei’s 109 goals for Iran.

Pele, class and all, congratulated Ronaldo’s achievement in a recent tweet.
