Marco Asensio’s rating in FIFA 18 has been revealed and whoever wants to play with him in the videogame will have to do with an 84 overall rating.
78 pace, 79 shooting. Utterly ridiculous. pic.twitter.com/w8vuzxclLp

It’s quite baffling to see that Asensio received a 78 score for pace and a 79 score for shooting.
While it’s clear that Asensio is not the world’s best player —yet—, the attacker probably deserved a better score than Sadio Mane or Henrikh Mkhitaryan, players who received a better rating. For what is worth, Asensio is considered FIFA18’s 95th best player.
EA Sports could still upgrade Asensio’s rating via an official patch if the Spanish wonder kid keeps performing well enough for Real Madrid. However, it’s clear that he will need to play relevant minutes and score crucial goals if he wants the developers to take notice and improve his score.
FIFA 18 will feature Cristiano Ronaldo on the cover. More ratings will be published soon.
