Real Madrid prospect Federico Valverde scored Uruguay’s opening goal against Paraguay and proved that he might have a storied career with his country and also with Madrid.
The midfielder is currently on a loan deal with Deportivo La Coruña after playing for Castilla last season. He is good enough to be considered as a potential midfielder for Real Madrid in the long term, although it’s true that both Casemiro and Marcos Llorente are young and have good years ahead of them.
However, it will be important for Real Madrid to have Fede Valverde on their roster, as his potential could very well be coveted in the upcoming years. Good defensive midfielders are not easy to find and Valverde will surely be an intriguing player if he keeps developing as a player with Deportivo.
