Los Blancos host Levante after the FIFA break in a game which they should use to gain some momentum as the real competition begins now. Yes, Real Madrid have already played two games, but now the Champions League kicks off once again and coach Zinedine Zidane will start managing his roster to keep his players fresh and ready for every single game.

Luka Modric —rest— and Cristiano Ronaldo —suspension— will miss the game, and so will Keylor Navas. All in all, Zidane could use this game to rotate his squad and give relevant minutes to players like Theo Hernandez, Marcos Llorente, Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo. Those men can take care of business against Levante and that way the starters would be ready to take on APOEL next Wednesday.

However, it’s still early in the season, so Zidane might try to consolidate his initial plan and keep the young men on the bench for this one.
