Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will resign at the end of the season. At least that’s what the board think at this point, according to a report published on MARCA by Carlos Carpio. Zidane signed a new deal with Madrid at the start of the 2017-18 campaign but the team’s recent struggles, including a 19-point deficit to Barcelona in La Liga table will make him leave the club, per that same report.

Zidane could become Paris Saint-Germain’s manager if the French club decide to get rid of current coach Unai Emery, who has been on the hot seat ever since he signed for the club last year.

No matter whether he actually leaves Madrid or not, what Zidane and his players achieved last season will me remembered for a long time. Real Madrid won their second straight Champions League title while also conquering La Liga in the process, achieving a historic La Liga-Champions League double what will go down as one of the most successful seasons in Madrid’s history.
