Real Madrid published the medical report on Jesús Vallejo, who was forced to leave Thursday's match against Leganés in the opening leg of the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals.
Following the tests carried out today on our player Jesús Vallejo at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to his right hamstring. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
Report: Realmadrid.com
Vallejo has been in and out of the squad for the whole season, proving that he needs to work on his body if he wants to be a reliable player as right now he is too injury prone to be trusted with a relevant role on the squad.
Vallejo is still an interesting prospect who could be crucial for Real Madrid in the future but injuries could harm his career as a football player. Either way, he is still very young and his strength and conditioning will surely improve with time.
