Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants out of Real Madrid next summer. However, former club Manchester United will not make a move for the Portuguese attacker, said coach Jose Mourinho.
“I think with the moment Real Madrid is having now I think I should be the last one to add some fuel to the fire,” he said.
“Madrid is on fire, the results are not good and it’s a club where I worked three years, I cared about the club, I am the last one to add [to the] fire,” added the Portuguese manager.
The rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to leave Real Madrid are quite recurrent. Apparently, the attacker wants a new deal to improve his current salary and the club will not be willing to offer that kind of contract considering how badly the whole team has been performing lately. Furthermore, Ronaldo will turn 33 years old in just a few days and might have entered his decline.
If United are not willing to sign Ronaldo, the future of the attacker seems fairly uncertain if he ends up leaving Spain in the summer.
