Real Madrid defender Nacho has been one of the few bright spots for the team during the first half of the season. Nacho has been completing solid performances week in and week out and he seems ready to keep doing that if Zidane decides to trust him against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round of 16.
“We have a tough challenge ahead of us and we’re perfectly capable of winning the Champions League. Afraid of PSG? There are many other things to be afraid of in life. They’re playing great this season but we’re Real Madrid and we’re not afraid. I’m sure they don’t want to play against us,” said Nacho after the 1-4 win against Valencia on Saturday.
With the team being 19 points behind Barcelona in La Liga and also out of the Copa del Rey, the Champions League will be the team’s last chance of winning a title this season. PSG will undoubtedly be a very tough opponent but the squad seems ready to step their game up and at least show why they are the defending European champions.
