It was a quiet day from a Real Madrid perspective, without much to write about. Everything we’ve wanted to dissect from the Valencia match -- tactics or otherwise — has already been done in podcasts and articles. Even deadline day didn’t provide us with much buzz. Mauro Icardi stirred the pot a bit on social media, but the only significant deals made today in La Liga were Iñigo Martinez (Sociedad -> Bilbao), Aymeric Laporta (Bilbao -> Man City), Marc Bartra (Dortmund -> Betis), and Roque Mesa (Swansea -> Sevilla).
