Real Madrid published their squad list for tonight’s match against Numancia, which will be the opening leg of their Copa del Rey tie.

REAL MADRID SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Navas, Casilla and Moha.

Defenders: Carvajal, Vallejo, Varane, Nacho, Theo, Achrafand Tejero.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Marcos Llorente, Asensio, Isco, Kovacic and Ceballos.

Forwards: Bale, Lucas Vázquez and Borja Mayoral.

As expected, most of the starters will sit this one out. Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo will rest this game while Karim Benzema will also miss the match as he recovers from the injury he picked up in El Clasico.

This game will be a good opportunity for players like Ceballos, Llorente or Theo, who have been out of the rotation for most of the season but still have the talent to make an impact. Gareth Bale will also try to gain some confidence and momentum as he is expected to start in the upcoming games while Benzema is still out.
