Sergio Ramos has officially joined Karim Benzema in Real Madrid’s injury report, the team announced on their website.
Following tests carried out on Sergio Ramos by the Sanitas Real Madid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in his left calf. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
Ramos will be out of the team for a while and could miss at least two weeks with this injury. Considering that Los Blancos will play PSG in just a month, coach Zinedine Zidane and the rest of the coaching staff will most likely play it safe and keep Ramos out until he has completely recovered from this injury.
With Ramos out, Nacho will be the one playing alongside Raphael Varane in the team’s defensive line. Jesus Vallejo could also earn some minutes while Real’s captain is out so that both Nacho and Varane have fresh legs on the bigger games.
