Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane took the blame for Real Madrid’s struggles this season after the team’s disappointing 2-2 draw in Vigo which now places Los Blancos 16 points behind Barcelona in La Liga table.

“I am the one who needs to find the answer to our problems,” said Zidane. “We’ve not played for 90 minutes. We played very well in the first half and the second was a bit worse. I have to work out the problem because I’m responsible. Sometimes we play well for the full 90 minutes but lately we aren’t doing it consistently. We’re not playing like we should be. We have to be more confident in our chances. We don’t have the confidence to play well for 90 minutes either,” he added.

The French coach also said that he doesn’t need any signings.

“I’m happy with the current squad and right now I don’t want any signings,” said the coach, who also revealed that president Florentino Perez met with the players in the dressing room after the draw.

“He came down to the dressing room to give the players some encouragement, that’s all there is to it,” concluded Zidane.
