Real Madrid have a 3-0 aggregate lead over Numancia entering the second leg of the Copa del Rey matchup. The first matchup featured mostly youngsters for Real Madrid, with Gareth Bale getting the start helping his return to form after an extended absence.

Numancia had a decent showing in the first game, despite being down 3-0 they showed up and played well. These sort of wins are very much needed as Real continue into the new year, and finishing up a strong first performance with a second win at home would send a good message.

The Copa del Rey is a great chance for returning injured players and youngsters to get solid playing time, a win or draw would ensure that it continues into the next round.

Predicted Lineup:

Real Madrid projected XI: Casilla, Carvajal, Nacho, Vallejo, Theo, Llorente, Ceballos, Bale, Vazquez, Asensio, Mayoral.

Numancia projected XI: Munir, Exteberria, Elgezabal, Gutierrez, Varcarce, Larrea, Sierra, Nacho, Nieto, Valcarce, Guillermo.
