UEFA appointed Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan as the man in charge of Tuesday’s Champions League match between Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow, which will be played at the Arena CSKA in Moscow, Russia.

Per Realmadrid.com
Ovidiu Hategan will take charge of the clash between CSKA Moscow and Real Madrid at the Luzhniki Stadium in the second game of the Group Stage of the Champions League (Tuesday, 9:00pm CEST). It will be the first time the Romanian official oversees a Whites game in the competition.

Hategan doesn’t have a lot of experience but this game should be quite easy to oversee knowing that it’s just the second game of this Group Stage. Keep in mind that VAR is not in effect in the Champions League just yet.

Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui will have to make some rotations on his defensive line given that he decided not to include Sergio Ramos in the squad list for this game.
