Real Madrid star Gareth Bale doesn’t have an injury on his groin, even though he left the field during Saturday’s Madrid Derby against Atletico with what was thought to be a muscle tear.
Bale underwent tests on this small issue today but the doctors said he doesn’t have an injury, meaning that he could play next weekend.
Ya se ha hecho la resonancia a Gareth Bale y no se ha detectado ninguna lesión.

Coach Julen Lopetegui decided not to include the Welshman in Real Madrid’s squad list for Tuesday’s match against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and it’s probably a good call even if Bale is ready to play. It will be important for him to get some rest so that he can be fresh enough to play and perform whenever Lopetegui decides to call his name again.
Despite the positive news, Julen Lopetegui will need to start rotating his squad with more regularity if he is to avoid injuries and have the squad hitting their peak come the spring. Players like Ramos, Varane, Carvajal, Casemiro, Kroos, and Benzema have already mounted significant minutes this season. If the team is to be successful on all fronts, Lopetegui must trust his full squad.
Bale has had a worrying history with muscle injuries and the whole coaching and medicall staffs will need to make sure he is able to stay healthy so that he can contribute this season.
