New Real Madrid signing Rodrygo Goes will join the club in the January transfer window, according to a report from El Español. The attacker will turn 18 years old on January 9th and therefore that’s when he will be allowed to officially become a member of the squad.
Los Blancos are in desperate need of some reinforcements for their attacking line and it seems that Rodrygo will help them in that regard, even though it’s clear that he should not be expected to lead this team now that he still lacks experience in European football.
Rodrygo was initially expected to join the club in the summer of 2019, but Madrid changed their minds, if that report is accurate. Los Blancos spent around €45 million to sign the attacker and he will be under contract until the summer of 2025. Rodrygo could play his first games in the club for Castilla until he is ready to contribute in the first team.
