Real Madrid defender Marcelo talked to the press and revealed that he will make his return to the pitch soon.

“I’m feeling fine, I’m almost 100% ready, doing my very best so that I can be back to what’s usual for me. I’m training well, this is only the second day I’ve been training with the ball but I’m happy with the progress I’m making. I’m still a bit away and this FIFA break will be good for me so that I can be ready for the next match,” said the Brazilian winger.

It’s clear that Marcelo should be ready to face Barcelona in El Clasico, which will be played on October 28th. Lopetegui could try to be careful with his recovery so that he is completely fresh and ready to play in that crucial game. In the meantime, Nacho will be the one replacing him in the starting lineup with Reguilon as the main backup.
