Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale trained at Valdebebas after making his return to the Spanish capital this Monday. The Welshman refused to play the match against Ireland in order to have more time to rest and get ready for Madrid’s upcoming matches, including El Clasico against Barcelona later this month.
Still, Bale seems to need time to recover from some undisclosed issue. The club has not reported anything on his status but he trained by himself this Tuesday and even the player himself tweeted that he “can’t wait to get back on the pitch,” suggesting that he is not ready to do that just yet.

Real Madrid need a healthy Gareth Bale this season and it seems that he is having some small physical problems lately. He had to leave the Madrid Derby against Atletico and also the match in Vitoria against Alaves, even though he missed the team’s trip to Moscow to face CSKA so that he could have more time to recover.
Still, it’s a good sign that he is not willing to risk a serious injury in a match with Wales considering how important the upcoming El Clasico is.
