CSKA Moscow vs Real Madrid, Champions League: Match Thread

YAY! Champions League time! Time to forget our slightly frustrating run of form in the league recently, and focus on our favorite tournament ever (no, not the Club World Cup)!

CSKA Moscow finished in 2nd place in the Russian Premier league last year and so far have notched one point in their first Champions League game this year against Plzeň. This really should not be a struggle for Real Madrid but we also need to respect the competition and come prepared. As a side note, it’s just slightly chilly in Moscow right now, about 50degrees F, or approximately 10degrees C, but nothing crazy yet, which is nice since we know what the weather can be like in Russia a little later in the year. It always pains me to see players in sub-zero temperatures, so none of that just yet.

You should have seen posts on Managing Madrid already indicating the full called up squad as well as any suspensions or injuries, the official starting 11, and where/how to stream the game. So now it’s just time to watch the game and enjoy with each other below - HALA MADRID!
