Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid: Match Thread

Real Madrid have traveled to Galicia to take on Celta Vigo in what could shape up to be a good weekend for us Madridistas, points wise. Barcelona dropped three points losing against Betis earlier in the day, so a win today could put Real within four points of the top of the table.

There has been a clear change in mentality since new boss Solari has taken over, winning three out of the last three games, but the squad has not had a true test just yet. Regardless, Real Madrid were losing and tying games that should have been given wins just prior to Solari becoming manager, so it isn’t strange to feel at least slightly optimistic that things could continue in a positive way.

Today’s fixture is a bit more of a test as we travel away from home, and we’re definitely going to want to keep an eye on our supposed target this past summer, Iago Aspas. Aspas has eight goals so far this season - just one less than Luis Suarez at the time of this writing.
