Real Madrid published the medical report on midfielder Casemiro, who picked up an ankle injury during the team’s visit to Celta Vigo last Sunday. Los Blancos earned a solid 2-4 but left Galicia with two injured players who might need some weeks to recover.

Following tests carried out on our player Casemiro by the Sanitas Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an ankle injury. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

According to reports from the Spanish press, Casemiro will miss two weeks with this injury. Real Madrid won’t play their next match until November 24th, when they’ll visit Eibar. All things considered, Casemiro might need some more time to recover properly from his sprained ankle, so Ceballos might have to play as a defensive midfielder again. He completed a solid performance against Celta, so it would make sense for Solari to trust him again if Casemiro can’t make it in time.
