Monaco striker Radamel Falcao wants to leave his current club and has offered himself to Real Madrid, according to a report from MARCA. Monaco have been struggling a lot this season and that has not changed since Thierry Henry became their coach, that being the reason why Falcao wants to leave and join a competitive club.

Falcao has been on Real Madrid’s radar for so many years, or at least that’s what the press reported. However, he’s now almost 33 years old and it’s clear that he’s not the same player he once was.

Still, it could be argued that Madrid need another scoring threat upfront and Falcao could be helpful there, even though Mariano appears to that same kind of player off the bench. Furthermore, Falcao’s agent is Jorge Mendes and Madrid don’t want to negotiate with him after the fiasco which ended with Cristiano Ronaldo leaving the club this past summer.

For the moment, this report appears to be quite unlikely.
