Real Madrid will try to sign AC Milan’s attacking midfielder Suso according to Sport Mediaset. The Spanish player has a €40 million release clause on his contract with Milan.
Once labeled as one of the most promising players in European football, Suso struggled a bit in Liverpool and even needed a loan deal in Almeria to get the minutes he wanted. However, he now has found his way in Italy, and considering he is still 24 years old he could be an interesting option for Madrid to add some depth to their current squad.
However, Suso primarily plays in the same position as Isco or Marco Asensio, so he is not needed at the moment. It’s also true that he’s comfortable on the right wing, meaning that he could fit that role if Madrid decide to part ways with Gareth Bale some time.
Either way, at €40 million, Suso would be a solid signing for Madrid.
