Real Madrid visit Eibar after a two-week FIFA break which allowed starters Marcelo, Casemiro and Raphael Varane to recover from their injuries. Coach Santi Solari will be able to give them the chance to start and those are massive news for Madrid’s thin defensive line.
Therefore, Los Blancos will only miss one starter. Casemiro is still out and that means that Solari will have to trust either Ceballos, Llorente or Valverde for the defensive midfielder spot. When Casemiro went down against Celta, Ceballos was the one replacing the Brazilian player and delivered a very solid performance, so Solari will be tempted to repeat and pick the Spanish player, who has shown notable improvement this season after being out of the squad list most of his debut season.
Benzema will be hoping to repeat the brilliant display he completed in Vigo, where he scored two goals and delivered one assist in the process as well. It will also be interesting to see if Isco gets his first start since the arrival of Solari.
