UEFA have appointed French referee Clement Turpin as the man in charge of the game between Roma and Real Madrid.
Per Realmadrid.com
Clément Turpin has been chosen to referee Real Madrid’smatch day 5 Champions League clash which sees them travel to Roma this Tuesday (9:00pm CET). It will be the second time the Frenchman has overseen a Whites’ fixture in the competition after he refereed the game on match day 6 of the Group Stage back in 2014/15 as Real Madrid beat Ludogorest (4-0) at the Santiago Bernabéu.
This will be a pivotal game for Madrid after the discouraging loss in Eibar this past Saturday. Solari had apparently changed the dynamics of the team yet his players completed what was arguably one of the worst performances of the season. Can they bounce back against Roma and take control of the group? If they can’t, most fans will feel like Solari is not the answer.
