It’s officially game time as Real Madrid have traveled to Italy to face A.S. Roma in the second to last game of the group stages in the Champions League. Every game is important if we are honest - unless a top spot has already been secured, of course. But this one is important in that Real Madrid sit at the top of the group tied on points with our foes for the day, only with a slightly better goal differential and the better head to head record thus far.
Real Madrid played Roma way back in September when Lopetegui was still our manager and things weren’t looking so bad just yet, and Real were able to nab a 3-0 win in the Bernabeu. Some say Roma will be looking for revenge, in addition to Real Madrid proving to be totally unpredictable. We either lose 3-0 or win 5-0. Like, we literally make no sense and who has any clue what is going to happen today. So, who knows what will happen but let’s be there for our boys during this frustrating time.
Hala Madrid!
