Open Thread: Champions League Matches

No this is not a photo of the Managing Madrid comments section after el Clasico, it’s the Young Boys fan section in Manchester last night. Is this stuff even legal? It looks dope but how irresponsible... anyway, I digress.

We have a day full of Champions League matches that don’t necessarily impact Real Madrid, but can be entertaining none the less. Feel free to chat about them here all one place. We will watch Barcelona lose to PSV Eindhoven in a shocking upset, Liverpool will lose to PSG all because Sergio Ramos exists (in reality that will be a fun game since their group is still pretty wide open), and Inter Milan travel to Tottenham, among other games.

Here’s a question for you: Do you root for Spanish teams to do well in the Champions League when the outcome doesn’t directly impact Real Madrid? Or do you not care which league teams are represented as the tournament progresses?
