Real Madrid defenders Alvaro Odriozola and Sergio Reguilon completed Thursday’s training session with the rest of the squad and have recovered from their injuries. While Odriozola had to leave Saturday’s match against Eibar with what appeared to be a hamstring injury, he just needed to take some days off and will be available against Valencia. On the other hand, Reguilon picked up his injury during Real’s win against Celta Vigo but he’s also ready to play.
Either way, both Odriozola and Reguilon will be expected to be on the bench now that Carvajal and Marcelo are also ready to play. Solari will be glad to have a deep defensive line but neither Odriozola nor Reguilon are going to make a huge impact.
Casemiro and Nacho are now the only players on Real Madrid’s injury report. The midfielder will need two more weeks to make his return while Nacho won’t be back until after the Christmas break.
