Real Madrid’s trip to Plzen to face Viktoria might not be as easy as some fans think. The hosts managed to make things very difficult for Los Blancos during their visit to the Santiago Bernabeu and even though Madrid ultimately survived and managed to earn a 2-1 win, Viktoria Plzen had enough chances to score and walk away from Madrid with a draw.

This will be Solari’s first game in the Champions League as the coach of Real Madrid and it will be interesting to see if he starts making rotations and which players are the ones with a more relevant role now that he’s the coach. Midfielder Marcos Llorente, who was a reserve for Zidane and Lopetegui, will surely be eager to prove that he deserves more minutes, at least as Casemiro’s backup.

Other than that, Real Madrid should focus on what’s important tonight, which is the three points.
