Michel Salgado has been a vocal supporter of Real Madrid since retiring and has always represented the best values of the club after spending 10 years with the club. Speaking with Cadena Cope and their El Partidazo program, Salgado spoke about various names and subjects surrounding the club. The first question asked of Michel was about the recent Champions League draw with Ajax of Amsterdam. “It would be an error to think this tie is already finished. That being said, the draw was good for Real Madrid. I don’t have doubts about this team, and even less so in the Champions League. They have many, many options to go through”, he affirmed.

Being this was a Spanish radio interview, there was little time wasted in asking about the Solari and Isco situation. Salgado gave his opinion and supported his former teammate. “The best place to prepare to be a Real Madrid coach is to be the coach of Real Madrid Castilla. It’s a formula that has functioned well. Now we have to be calm and patient with Solari”, he pleaded. Quickly thereafter, Salgado gave his opinion on the man from Malaga: “Solari will have to get with Isco and find a solution. They have to fix it.”

At the end of the interview, Salgado gave his prediction on Raul’s future. “Raul will be the coach of Real Madrid one day, I don’t have any doubt. He has the knowledge and knows how to manage a dressing room. He is the next Di Stefano”.
