Carvajal speaks on Isco and reaction to the win against Valencia
Dani Carvajal was interviewed by Movistar after the Valencia match where he was asked about teammate Isco and his reaction to Real Madrid’s win.
“He is the most loved in the dressing room.”
“Like Marcos Llorente. He has had two great games after a long time without playing.”
“It was a match in which, especially in the first half, we have been very good,” Carvajal added. “I think it was one of the best of the season.
“And then if it is true that we have struggled to close the game because Valencia have also awakened and made things very difficult for us.”
“Without the fans we are nobody and yes, it is true, that these last months we are not giving what they deserve and that is why we show our affection and try to give every victory we get.”
Isco got a chance to play coming on as a substitute after being benched against Roma. It’s good to see in a time where there is a lot of confusion with his situation, Isco’s teammates are standing by him and giving him encouragement.
They played quite well against Valencia and are back on the right track to stay close in the LaLiga title race. Carvajal is right in saying the past few months have been tough, but that makes victories like these even better.
Solari says he is satisfied with the team and Isco
Movistar also interviewed Real manager Santiago Solari after the match and asked him about the team’s performance and Isco.
“He would be decisive when we had a transition.”
“Satisfied with him and with everyone.”
“It’s fantastic, it’s what makes teams solid and big, the big ones play many competitions.”
“It’s a lot of games and it’s important that each of the players is fit and cheerful and available. Two great games that he had to play.”
Real Madrid bounced back in LaLiga in response to that disappointing 3-0 loss to Eibar last weekend. Solari has gotten the confidence levels of both the team and fans with these wins against Roma and Valencia this week.
Bale’s agent feeds into rumors about a transfer, you’ll never guess who that team is....
Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett was interviewed by Tuttosport and of course was asked about Bale potentially leaving for Juventus.
“Gareth is very happy at Real Madrid, but if we’re talking about the future then nothing is impossible in the transfer market.”
“Ronaldo was an important loss for Real Madrid. Gareth loved playing with Cristiano, but he’s happy because he’s at a top club.”
“It’s true that since CR7 arrived the foreign superstars are starting to consider Serie A and start looking at it in a different way compared to the last years.”
It seems that Ronaldo leaving for Juventus has now opened the floodgates for transfer rumors from Real Madrid to Juventus. And it’s never about wanting to join Juventus, it’s about wanting to join Ronaldo there.
It certainly doesn’t help when agents feed into these rumors, even if he is trying to be honest. It’s also Tuttosport mainly, a Juventus outlet, constantly trying to convince people that there’s going to be mass exodus from Madrid to Turin.
Certainly it’s not impossible, but there’s no reason to suggest it’s even likely. We’ve now seen it this season with Marcelo, Isco, Navas, and now Bale. I’m certain the names from Real will only increase over the rest of the season and into next summer.
