Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir has been offered to Real Madrid, according to a report from MARCA. The French club doesn’t want to see their player leaving as a free agent when his current contract expires in 2020 and that’s why they are trying to find a deal for the talented playmaker.

The original report from MARCA does not mention a potential fee, although it clearly says that right now Madrid would not be interested in Fekir with players like Vinicius and Rodrygo set to fight for relevant minutes in the upcoming seasons.

Fekir can play in both wings and also behind the attacker, so right now Real Madrid have that spot covered. The Frenchman is an interesting player but this deal would not make much sense for Los Blancos, so Madrid will instead try to complete a deal for River Plate midfielder Exequiel Palacios, who recently conquered the Copa Libertadores.
