The Belgian attacker suggested that he might not be all that interested in leaving London.

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard scored a crucial goal for his team this Wednesday and delivered some quotes after the game, possibly suggesting that he might not leave London even after how many times he’s expressed interest in joining Real Madrid when his current contract with Chelsea expires.

“Scoring 101 goals with this amazing club is something I will never forget, but now I think the fans, the staff, myself, the players, we want more. I want to score more for this club and then try to be a legend like Lampard, Terry, Drogba, I try to do my best. But when we are winning we can enjoy a lot,” said Hazard to Sky Sports.

Hazard’s deal with Chelsea expires in 2020 and some reports indicate that Madrid will try to sign him as soon as next summer, trying to take advantage of Chelsea’s desperate situation to earn some money from the transfer if Hazard doesn’t sign an extension. Furthermore, Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic seems to be quite comfortable in the London-based club and appears to be keen on staying in Chelsea, so both teams could try to explore some kind of deal involving these two players.
