Manchester City attacker Brahim Diaz will wear number 21 in Real Madrid if Los Blancos end up completing a deal for the talented playmaker next week as expected. Brahim will sign a €3.5 million/year contract with Madrid, according to a report from Cadena SER.
Real Madrid will spend close to €15 million to sign Brahim this winter even though they could’ve waited until next summer, when the player becomes a free agent. It’s clear that Los Blancos have a lot of faith in the young attacker as they’re also willing to offer him a lucrative salary now that he’s still 19 years old.
Apart from Brahim, Real Madrid are also working to complete the signing of River Plate midfielder Exequiel Palacios, who could join the club this winter as well even though some reports suggest that Madrid could wait until next summer to bring the Argentinian midfielder in. Mario Hermoso is also reportedly on Madrid’s radar to improve the team’s depth at the defensive line this winter.
