Real Madrid wonder kid Vinicius Junior talked to Globoesporte about his first few months in the Spanish capital and revealed that both Casemiro and Marcelo have helped him.
“Marcelo and Casemiro helped me. Nobody arrives there being 18 years old and manages to play and I’m already doing that. I came in just a few months ago and the group is helping me and I’m having my chances,” said Vinicius. “I was very happy when we conquered that world title and that will help us during the season,” he added.
“If I’m playing at a high level in Madrid then I will most likely reach the Brazilian national team because there are very good players there. In Madrid I play with the world’s best players and they help me,” explained the winger.
Vinicius has been a bright spot for Madrid but it’s clear that he still lacks the experience to make an impact on a consistent basis. He will soon be joined by fellow Brazilian attacker Rodrygo, who will become a Real Madrid player next summer.
