Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon spoke to Spanish TV Cuatro and denied the rumors suggesting that he wants to leave the club this winter.

“I’m excited. I’m not thinking about leaving the club even for a minute, I am very happy. My main goal is to win many trophies in Real Madrid,” said Isco, who made his return to training today with the rest of the squad.

The Spanish playmaker has not been a relevant player ever since coach Santiago Solari took over and replaced Julen Lopetegui. Other clubs like Manchester City appeared to have interest in signing Isco this very same winter but the player apparently now wants to stay at least until the summer, when he will most likely have to make a decision depending on whether Solari actually stays as Real Madrid’s coach or not.

For the moment, it seems that Isco will have a few more chances to prove his worth and earn Solari’s trust this season.
