Real Madrid coach Santi Solari talked to the press ahead of Sunday’s match against Huesca. The coach said that Los Blancos will fight for La Liga title until the very end.
“I have no doubt in my mind that they will make things tough from the very first minute. We have to play with effort and composure defensively while being aggressive when we have the ball. I don’t think I need to motivate my players, we will fight for La Liga until the very end,” said the coach.
Midfielder Toni Kroos revealed that he has “knee problems” but Solari said that he should be available to play in the Club World Cup.
“Apparently he should be fine to play in the Club World Cup but it will be up to the doctors,” he explained.
Reports published in the Spanish press suggest that goalkeeper Keylor Navas might be on his way out of the club this winter. Navas has been a reserve ever since Solari was appointed the manager.
“I’m not the one who should be recommending Navas whether he has to stay or not. Every player has his own feelings, but I can say that there is not a better place to be than Real Madrid,” concluded Solari.
