Real Madrid published a medical report about German midfielder Toni Kroos, who might miss the team’s upcoming games with a sprained knee.
Following tests carried out on Toni Kroos by the Sanitas Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a sprained to the exterior lateral ligament in the left knee. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
Kroos completed last Wednesday’s game against PSG without any issues. However, he could have picked up that sprain during the match. As always with knee issues, this one could be a bit tricky and the coaching staff should probably not rush Kroos back.
Real Madrid will try to have the German midfielder back when they visit the Parc des Princes 18 days from now in what will be a crucial match for Los Blancos, who hold a 3-1 lead on aggregate but will need to play a solid match in PSG’s stadium if they want to be in the Quarterfinals. Right now, Kroos should be considered questionable for that game.
