Real Madrid’s schedule is about to get much busier and this means that coach Zinedine Zidane will have to trust his bench once again. Los Blancos visit Betis this Sunday and then they will play at Leganes on Wednesday. Furthermore, Zidane will also have to keep his players healthy and fresh for the upcoming match against PSG, so players like Ceballos, Asensio, Lucas Vazquez or Marcos Llorente could get some playing time in the next few games.
“I trust in every member of the squad. We’ve got a lot of games coming up and we’re going to need everyone. I want all of my players to be ready and they are,” said Zidane when asked about this matter in today’s press conference.
Still, Zidane’s reserves have not been as brilliant as they were last season. James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata have been missed in the team’s second unit and that’s something that has cost Madrid this season. Either way, the team literally have nothing to lose in La Liga, so Zidane should trust his youngsters at least until Los Blancos know if they will be playing in the next round of the Champions League or not. After all, these young men also need minutes to develop and prove whether they belong in the club or not.
