Real Madrid visit Betis after their good performance against Paris Saint-Germain last Wednesday, and while coach Zinedine Zidane is expected to make some rotations in this game, key players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos or Marcelo traveled with the squad to Sevilla.

Betis have been playing very good football under Quique Setien this season and they have quality players like Fabian, Guardado or Joaquin, so Real Madrid will have to complete a good performance if they want to earn the three points.

Confidence is a key factor in football and Madrid regained some with their good display against PSG. They should try to build even more confidence before the second leg. Still, that is pretty much the only thing at stake here, given that Madrid are currently 17 points behind Barcelona in the table and have no chances of winning the title this season. Either way, they will have to clinch their presence in next year’s Champions League sooner rather than later.
