Bad news for Real Madrid as left-back Marcelo had to leave the match against Betis with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

This is problematic for Real Madrid as Marcelo was one of the team’s most valuable players last Wednesday. It’s unclear whether the Brazilian defender will be ready to face PSG in two weeks time, but if he does suffer a hamstring injury he might not be ready for that game.
The club will most likely confirm the extent of Marcelo’s injury tomorrow, although they will not report how much time he will miss.
If Marcelo ends up missing the return leg of the tie against PSG, Nacho should be expected to play on the left wing now that Carvajal will be available to play as the team’s right-back. Theo Hernandez could also play but he has not been reliable enough to earn that spot in such a crucial match.
